Things To Do In Milan

Soon after the almost perfect touchdown at the Malpensa International Airport, I took a shuttle bus service that
dropped me off at the Milan Central in the heart of the city.

Milan is the second largest city in Italy and also serves as the financial hub.

Usually people have an impression that Milan is not very touristy and putting in more number of days
would eventually be wasted. Well, that's not true at all.
The city boasts impressive architecture, culture, food and fashion.

Here's the top things to do in Milan

1. Visit Pacro Sempione

The largest park in the city of Milan.

A perfect place to relax and a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Enjoy the beautiful walking paths, the lake, the fountains and the cafes.

It's a lot of walking, so keep yourself hydrated at all times. The park has a lot of drinking water fountains to take care of you.

2. Duomo Di Milano

If you haven't seen this, you haven't been to Milan at all.

The Duomo is the symbol of Milan and almost took six centuries to complete. Largest in the country, Duomo is famous around the world for it's gothic architecture that would definitely leave you speechless. Explore the Duomo or climb up to the top for panoramic views.

3. Sunset at the Canals

This can't be missed at any cost. The best evening you could ever imagine. I really enjoyed my evening at the canals. The sunset is spectacular. The canals are lined with cafe's serving delicious food, grab a spot and enjoy the view.

4. When In Italy, Grab a Gelato Daily

Believe me, every third person in the crowd would be seen licking up the melting gelato off the cone in the summer. It's so good, you can't resist. I'll have to admit, major portion of my budget was spent on licking gelato. I couldn't help.
